Goal Setting

What type of goals work best for you?  Short term, long term etc... How do you use your reward system for motivation?

I like to set out a short list of goals that I want to meet for the day - nothing overwhelming, but definitely challenging!  I feel as if I have accomplished more at the end of the day that way. Come the weekend, when I've got a week's worth of accomplishments under my belt, I feel NO guilt when it comes time for my rewards - whether it be a lazy afternoon, a slice of apple pie, or a modest shopping trip!
